At the site of a shootout, somewhere in the middle of nowhere, you (Josh Brolin) discover $2 million. You take the money home, know they are going to come looking for you, pack off your loved ones and go on the run. Problem is you’re running from a chilling, psychotic, unrelenting hired gun, Javier Bardem. Tommy Lee Jones as sheriff of the small town does his best to try to protect. Assorted other characters like Woody Harrelson also try to do their bit

Javier is scary in his role, a throwback to the days when villains used to really be bad, used to terrify (nowadays most are so metrosexual, eager to please, as if running for elections). Josh is very convincing as a big, tough guy trying to remain alive. Tommy Lee Jones is every inch a decent man lost in the violent world of today. I didn’t like the end – that’s actually too mild – hated the end…will probably not be able to watch the film again just because of the end but right until then its fantastic viewing. A battle to remain alive, protect your loved ones. The stakes just can’t be any higher.
