D question is: Why has D Book struck such a deep chord? La dolce vita.. d unfettered account of his extraordinary journey makes even d most cynical reader dare to dream & hope (yet hope is never far away.. as one particular plot disguised a few loose ends)... He takes us on a grit-strewn ride with his inimitable humour & warmth. It's compulsively readable. Hands Down! most amazing. It's like listening to yr wisest & funniest BF (best friend) opening their heart to you. Thunderous, roiling exotic excitement. Liaisons synonymous with d archetypical femme-fatale/man-fatale. Ingenious stories sharply drawn & tenderly observed. He who split hairs discovering d theory of relativity : Einstein said, 'Imagination is more important than knowledge.' When reality falls short of d ideal, this writer bridges d gap with a generous scoop of imagination. Apurv Nagpal is imagination in action! That colourful teller of tales.. D literary pundits must b describing his efforts as magic realism. People, do u want to view life as a Films Division documentary or a Yash Chopra entertainer? If your vote is for d latter, grab a copy of 18+ sit back & enjoy d ride..

D Bike Ride: Love is what makes d ride worthwhile. Unless a woman has an amorous heart, she is a dull companion.... Story No.2 : Men fall for frigid women because they put on d best show. Marriage has many pains but celibacy has no pleasures. "If two people love each other there can be no happy end to it." - Ernest Hemingway. (People fall in love, but they have to climb out.) ...... Blame The Generation Gap : All married people fight, although many are ashamed to admit it. Actually a marriage in which no quarreling at all takes place may well be one that is dead or dying from emotional under-nourishment.... Dear Neanderthal : Why does a woman work ten years to change a man's habits & then complain that he's not d man she married ?? .... Let me say....... that this true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love.....

It may have been observed that there is no regular path for getting out of love as there is for getting in. No woman likes to see her emotions the sport of a merry-go-round of skittishness. Has enormous energy, coupled with a brilliant mind, which makes for a formidable combination. Looks like a work of Art. Calm, complacent, intellectual, his uncanny ability to stay focused...Takes positive criticism in his stride.. In his quest to surprise readers, here's a pat on the back for a job well done. But Dear Writer, there must have been times when anger has out weighed logic ... ??

The Bike Ride : I had a first date with a guy who'd just decided to quit his job... our perverse sense of humour, fondness for four letter words (not d F one.. please) & intolerance of annoying people make us a great match... In today's world, we want to see our fantasies & aspirations come true in d lives of our favourite book/ movie characters, because as kids, we've been conditioned "& d king & d queen lived happily ever after" (yawn)... In trying to live up to stereo types or breaking them, we forgo d real for d imagined. Armed with advice handed down generations, we enter relationships with preconceived notions... Why keep ourselves bereft of d wondrous pleasures of loving. Bring d orgasmic, titillating, bangable, bonetastic back. Doesn't everyone want a fairy tale romance on a platter ? Just sit back & enjoy d ride (pun intended)... Fellas.. His is an honest account..laced with a little naughty peg of malice & single malt.. He has a way of observing other people & telling a story that is almost unmatched....

I often used to wonder : How do porcupines mate? The Fable of Porcupine : It was the coldest winter ever. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions. After a while, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice... Either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth. Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the warmth and heat that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.. ....
